What exactly do you mean? Something hovering in the middle of the air with no means of suspending it?

A rockets can do it where they hover no going up or down. This takes tons of careful tweaking though, you'd think to perfectly allighed rockets could do it by themselves, but no, you have to calculate the gravity also.

Other than that. There's no "air" in the game world. So there's no way spinding something could float you since there's nothing to "push" off of.

never thought of that altouh rockets could be use full by putting the armadillo on it and when the timer on the left expires the force is uneven so it floats left then the other rockets timer expires leavin the armadillo in the "goal" also there would be a rocket on top and bottem or more than one so it could do anything but not very cost friendly. This could be a new age of travel if people lowerd the cost of rockets and timers.

sorry for spelling

Someone already made a level with no anchor points:

http://www.armadillorun.com/levels/data ... upsies.lvl

But in general keeping the armadillo in a small enough spot to go through a normal portal without any anchor points is very difficult! Rockets love to go left or right suddenly without much provocation :D

The solutions to this one might give you some ideas for another level which you might be interested in *wink wink*

dillo' in basket with rockets on top and bottem then 2 more on left and right so it stays still then timer on left rocket expires unbalensing it making it go left but not up or down also more than one rocket for more than 1 journey. look at this, bad drawing but you get the idea

The problem there is once the rockets disappear the overall contraption will get lighter.

Nifty idea though, worth exploring :D
