I've just got back from a short holiday, so only saw this today.

Ha! So is the force an accident or was it intentionally included to mimick AR I wonder? Bizarre.

I don't have a problem with things like this unless they've actually got code/data ripped from AR.

you know, it looks alot like the stuff out of that sodaplay game, the same kinds of physics anyway.

That jiggling just isn't realistic anyway IMO.

The force is a bug in the editor, allowing you to create impossible structures (bars crossing through each other, etc) and that is the true cause of the force. If a level is made without impossible structures, little to no bugs happen. It's not your physics engine, Peter (which is brilliant, BTW), it's your editor, I think. Kinda screw up the game if you couldn't have things passing through one another, though, wouldn't it?

The force is one of those things that make Armadillo Run unique and fun though. :)

You can also choose whether you want to use the force or not, which is part of the fun really :)

the other thing is that in real life, you could put a bar on eace side and connect them so it is in fact kind of realistic.

yeah but they wouldnt be able to slide round!

yes they would because they would only be connected at the ends

example of the two rods connected |=| them middle ones are the two bars and the sides are where they would connect (there is some excess bar left because of not small enough lines)

do you understand what i mean now?
