Unpossibler?

Postby snowlord » Fri Dec 01, 2006 10:26 am

Since the unpossible level was solved I've been thinking of an even harder and more minimalistic level.

I've been experimenting with trying to solve the initial level, the one you get when starting a new level, i.e. only an Armadillo and a portal. Doing this without rockets, of course. My experiments involve either elastics throwing things at the armadillo to keep it in one place or two lengths of plate squeezing it upwards while they are falling downwards.

Do you think this would be possible (without the force)? Then the new hard level could be one with the portal way up and the armadillo way down...
I'm a tweakling (any score posted by me is light, unless stated otherwise)

the plate idea is nice. I can see it work with metal spacers with timers and tensioned elastic...

You need to keep it there for longer than it takes material to fall completely out of the level.

I think wihout extending the boundaries this would be truly unpossible.

Of course you need a really high level, and the exit can't be at the top, I'd say it'd be about 1/8th from the bottom. Actually depending on the height of the level.

You could make the portal very big too - if thats nesesary to make the level possible
