End Files

Postby Muppet » Thu Sep 21, 2006 11:02 pm

Anyone care to explain how those .end files are made, like the ones between the Contest B #6 levels. I understand the naming convention and have tried it by renaming a .lvl files as it describes in the game instructions. But how are those close ups & view angles achieved. Are they excerpts from a larger lvl or stand alone levels renamed as .end :?:

it's kinda odd, but what you need to do is move the viewing angle to how you want it (while editing the level), and then save the level.

For some reason it saves the previous viewing angle in the 'lvl' file, even though it doesn't use this for anything other than .end files.

What happends then when you try to change the name from qwerty.lvl to qwerty.end in windows explorer?

It could be because your windows is set up to hide the file extensions. (sorry for the late reply)
