Moving cities

Just thought i'd start off a post, trying to make the largest possible wheeled objects. this new obsession came with reading the amazing mortal engines, or "hungry city trilogy", which i'd reccomend to anyone. and btw, the thing itself is a traction city, and the little thingy which it eats is a city. the airship is borrowed from the airship thread (and if anyone is unhappy about that, ill happily change it)

I noticed you used my air ship for shooting and turning to scrap metal :( But at least someone used my stuff for a nice level :D

Yay!

Completely ignoring Jackfin 11's plea to try and cut down on the size of the contraption (sorry) meet traction city mark two, complete with crushing gullet and "furnace". I took out the airships, as shooting down another inventor's designs isn't very nice. and just to make this clear, the little "tram" moving left and right on the bottom tier was based on someone else's design, but rebuilt by me, so no cries of "stealing" please...

The best part about these two levels is watching the cities drive over the edge. It's a long wait, but it's worth it! :D

I didn't mean that you stole it,I'm happy you used it. :D If you meant me by the stealing thing. You should put it high in the air and cut the track in half and let it drop down onto a rubber floor made of anchors.

Yeah, dont worry about the tone of my voice, twas a grumpy day. Anyway, i found that because tthe traction city is so heavy, it sinks straight through the bottom of the track if you simply put anchor points. my "track" is raised over the ground allowing it to flex and therefore keep the traction city on top. however in traction city 2, the city is so heavy that halfway through (where i couldn't be arsed to reinforce it) the tracks sink below the floor and everything goes wrong. hmm....

Yea,that bug really is annoying when I finally build something to crash and it goes through the floor.
