Walled Off :Break though the lower wall and then get back up

Hi, I made a level called "Walled Off" (which has been attached) There is a vertical wall spanning the entire field and also saparates the armmadillo from the portal. There is also only one place where the wall can be broken, which is the very bottom. (The armmadillo and portal are all the way at the top.)

Unfortunantly I havn't been able to complete it yet, however, I have been able to break though the wall, so it should be a possibility.

(Don't read this if you don't want any hints: To break though the wall, I used two hammers, one on either side of it.)

I'm thinking that once you get the armmadillo to the other side, it should be easy to get up by using several sling shots (rockets are disabled, by the way) or relativly easy to get up, anyway.
Oh, and you can't just slingshot over the wall, there's another wall up there.

If you find a solution, post it, I'd like to see how you get past something like this. (I also need the solution so that I can know what price to have, I also plan on having several levels of wall breaking, this would probbably be the final one. Unless I think of something even harder.)

You posted the wrong file... find the one without the "~" in front of it.

I just removed the ~ , opened the level and clicked "clear" before looking at the authors own solution. Gonna give it some try before I bed soon..

Oh, the ~ stood for the solution? Well, I didn't really make solution for the whole thing, just breaking that wall.
Here's the other file, even though it's apparently not needed.

With what I've built so far, I'm thinking I'd need to hold the armmadillo back for several seconds while the metal falls away, and then build a ramp and get the armmadillo to speed down and though the gap. Then launch a few sling shots to get it up again.
That's what I'm think of trying out anyway.

Here's one idea. It's very tweakable (especially at the end since I got lazy)

Enjoyable level! Now off to bed...

Fun level  I cosider this one pretty light, since I use power from falling object as a hammer to the welded material.

Edith/piaff : Oh I see that there are remains from earlyer attampts hanging around. If you remove those you get 99350.. :D

I'm still working on it, and my solution is a mess so far. Should probbably try a diffrent method.

*Later*

I'm now attempting a diffrent method and it's working a whole lot better than the last one. (Both are attached.)

Hi, I got around to finishing my version, here it is.
I like the mechanisms involved.

It uses a couple of springs to get the armadillo back up, and a few other things to complete the level with.

Fun to wathc due to all the movements, steps and additional smal helpmovements! Timers are very expensive though :P

Yeah, timers cost $200. I wonder if there is a way to do it without timers?

Can you do it without timers, tension, rockets, elastic, rope, rubber, and cloth? Just metal sheets and metal bars? That'd be really challenging. Not sure how you would do that either. Maybe a bunch of falling objects? Which could double as a sort of timer by adjusting hight, and knock the armadillo into the air with lots of levers of some sort?

And then if you do succeed at that, try it with only metal sheets.

And I'm making multiple levels based on the idea of smashing though metal sheets, so I'll upload more levels later.

Yes I did, it has three ropes, and three pieces of cloth. (Not counting the unused one in the corner.) (And the first couple of sentences were refering to my design.)

Here's a few more levels, havn't completed all of them yet though.
And you might notice that the third one allows for the speedball glitch to be used.
And you'll also notice that I changed the name of it.

Ahh.. sorry, dint see that. But my solution can absolutely be done that way - just jusing metalbars instead of rope, and short metalsheets instead of cloth - and keep the pulleywheel in place with metalsheets. But it would take an hour or maybe more to tweak it to work...

However, moving in the opposite direction, ropes and cloth are added for tweaks :P. If only metal bars & sheets are allowed, less tweaking can happen easily.
