My first level Set: CHUTE Shoot

Postby DaveH » Thu Jun 29, 2006 11:27 pm

Hi,

I've made a set of levels called CHUTE Shoot :armadillo:.

There are 5 levels, one ending screen and an Extra level. All levels have been tested and are solvable.

Download:
Download "CHUTE Shoot"

Possible alternative download:
I started by uploading the set to my ISP-provided homepage but it seems their HTTP homepage server is down right now. If/when it works, you can download from here instead:
Download "CHUTE Shoot" (from my homepage)

Any and all comments welcome and encouraged.

Dave.

I just finished the level set ($5136 total for now), and it was great! It was a very different experience from the normal game, because the Armadillo already starting in motion makes it much harder to use many conventional techniques. For me, the second level was actually the hardest to complete and I finally did it only with a very inelegant solution. I have not yet finished the bonus level, but it's also interesting and fits well with the theme.

Definitely not for beginners! But everyone looking for a challenge should try this set.

Also, the ending "movie" is extremely impressive. How long did you work on it Dave? (Btw, I used the download link from your homepage and it worked perfectly)

Fun set, and I agree the movie at the end is very impressive. How many points do I need to unlock the bonus level?

(I assume you'll upload the set to http://www.armadillorun.com?)

Thanks for the encouraging comments. Peter, I'm very impressed that you solved the whole set just over three hours after I posted it! That's a good score as well!

The ending movie took about six hours over a couple of evenings so I'm glad you both liked it

I've already uploaded the set to the official site and just waiting for approval.
