Good level, Dave, but for League A :D
Deadline date should be reduced.

Sure.
As you know, I knocked this one up under 'not-ideal conditions'.
I'd say it was a fare A-League level. (conditions aside - It's in the B-League because of the Contest Duration and the tweakabillity)
If conditions were different - I'd not have hosted this on B-League.
There are No Special Rules, Special Prices, Special - well anything! - It's a level to resolve a Tie.

Duration can easily be reduced - "Everyone agrees". - Game stops : Score noted : Winner Wins.
IMO - Its not so easy to extend duration - See contest S in the A-League - current leaders, nor me as Host, would NOT enjoy an extension.

Hopefully this one wont end in a draw.
Submit your solution - you are well behind

I wont offer to Host another level until I've earned my :dms: :lms: :cms: things.

(My next development will see you beeten for sure. I've a level worthy of the B-League, that can't be drawn, and will favour people with "Newbie Minds". But that's only Newbie thinking - I'm excellent at being proven wrong  )

Enjoy :D

You've piqued my curiosity, Dave. Proving you wrong is a fun challenge! XD Hope you get to host again soon.

$1250+ :lms:

Really, though. As a tiebreaker, and at A League difficulty, the deadline will inevitably end up being reduced. I don't think it is wrong to speed through the low false bids and get to the real action. Just this once.

Some people don't want to understand these large bids kill the game. Newbie's give up before even submitting, pro's quit because there is not enough competition, the end.

I quite agree Rob, we all discussed this and the majority seemed to agree early large bids are not acceptable.

So, after another huge raise I have all but lost interest and will go another day without bidding. :( :( :(

Mark,
As a wise man once said,
" Don't give up yet XXXX. It's a learning curve "

You are on the podium with your last submit.

The submits are more interesting than the bidding.
I cannot allow this to draw (my proposed level will probably not be ready, sorry Rob, EDIT: Sh.b SENDAI and I don't want to host any of my other planned B-League stuff - 'cos that needs re-thinking too)

IF A DRAW LOOKS LIKELY ON THIS LEVEL I WILL ASK FOR FASTEST SOLUTIONS WHEN THE DRAW IS ANNOUNCED, OR NO LATER THAN 24hrs BEFORE THE SCHEDULED END

There should be enough days left for this statement to be applied without offending anyone!

Don't worry Dave, I have not given up, just won't be bothering to bid for a while :D . As has been said before, big bids kill the game, it brings the game to an early finish and reduces the number of players and submissions. It is counterproductive to raise the bid so quickly during the first couple of days of a contest. I for one will loose interest in taking part if the early big raises of late do not stop.

This happened last year for a while and took a lot of shouting from Cresta and V4nkw15h to stop it and I all but lost interest in the game then. This forum has just picked up a few more players after dropping down to only three not very long ago, please stop this overenthusiastic and impatient bidding or look forward to a very quiet forum again.
