AR2 B 055 6pack Results

Postby rob » Sat May 29, 2010 9:34 pm

Time is up. Few players this time but some very nice solutions :D

Honorary mention for dave. That first swing is perfect and your ouch solution was very close. I included a fixed version for you :D

Early in the contest votart send me a dark solution going though the wall so hoping for some more solutions I promised the best dark solution a medal. In the end Ioncorpse took the :dms: with a cool 910. Congrats.

For the light competition votart had a very cool big swing but markmadrass added a very ingenious cloth brake to his swings making them very efficient. So the :lms: is for markmadrass scoring 1048. Congrats.

Thanks for playing and see you in the next :D

Nice solutions. Tried making some swings of my own but didn't succeed. Well done :)

Thank you for you comments. (That's a rope break Rob not cloth) :D

Some great solutions from all, a little late on the scene this morning after a good Saturday night out, suffering for it now :( .

Just need to test out a new level and the next contests will be up and running :D .

Love that dark solution Ioncorpse, congratulations. Amazing how the cloth adds more power :? .

Ooops  rope brake it is.

I'm also curious how cloth can better than metal sheet for pushing the dillo through :? In AR1 they also used a bunch of cloth to do it.

Creative swings. And I like cheapest dark top part by Votart.

Interesting, why cloth have such strange behavior... maybe we can ask Peter? :D

I think I know what Peter will say ...
"It's the way cloth works."
It's made up of LOTS of little bits - and so it behaves differently to ONE sheet of metal.
IMO - you could probably end up with the same result if you used enough, short, sheets of metal - but it may be a bit pricey!
(Don't get me started on my "The Cloth Bug" subject again though :D )
