This level will test the tweaking problem and so far I have not had to re-tweak anything :D :D :D .

I'll start low in the hope more people will join in :D

700+ :lms: :D

The jackhammer construction is of little use now.

Just a suggestion, as we go through the various Beta versions it may avoid confusion for newcomers if we put the Beta version number in the title of the contest and start the contest count from 001 with each new version.

This contest title would then read "AR2.1.1._B_001_4X4"

I suggest that contest count must be continued :D

OK, but start from 001 when AR2 has official release :D yes :?:

I just thought that starting from 001 again with each new Beta would make it less confusing to a newcomer, this is the first contest with AR2.1.1. not the 39th :)

Meanwhile, is any one else having a go at this, not many downloads :(

No worries we all have a life to live, I've been playing AR all weekend so must get a lot of work done next week to make up for it. We (the few that remain) will be here when you get back :D

What can I say, where has everyone gone, I guess Rob is busy and has only had time for the other league. :(

Good news

The next Beta is done and should be available later today or tomorrow. Peter has found and fixed all the remaining (known) faults with the simulation. Unfortunately the problem with the small Dillo being fairly easy to push through steel plate is one we will have to live with, it is either that or make the minimum Dillo size bigger. Just have to keep it in mind when making levels with small Dillos and exclude the "push through" in the rules, or put in a double layer of plate.

And even further good news, the bounce has been put back :D

I have asked about promotion of the game, we could certainly do with some more players.

I have a 3outa4 solution for this, I'll do that last dillo as well. Just don't know if it will be competitive..... busy busy busy.
Don't think the tinydillothroughplate is a huge problem. There is no grey area, it goes through or it doesn't. It's up to the host to allow it or not.
Great that the bounce is back, I hope the tweakproblems that go with it are reduced.

Maybe we could send all registered users of this forum a pm/mail? Just had a look and I don't see how I could but since you have moderator rights maybe you can?

All registered users are in the members list which is available for anyone to view, isn't it :?:

I'll be more than happy to send PM's to as many as I can :D

I was just adding to my last post and my internet connection went down

Peter has decided to delay the next Beta by just a few days so he has the time to complete the correction of the remaining bugs, this includes the perpetual motion sometimes found in catchers :D . It should therefore be near to perfect when it is done. This will just leave the cosmetic stuff which is all a lot easier to do and should not take very long.

Peter has also told me that when AR2 is past the Beta stage he will be launching some promotion of the game so we should then see an increase in players. All being well this site is due to get busy fairly soon.

I will send out some PM's to past members but just restrict it to those who joined in the last few months. I will delay this until the next Beta is done in a few days time. :D :D

Things are certainly looking up :D :D :D

Ok, 1000+ :lms: :D

Sending pm's to all individual members is a big job... It should be possible for admin/moderator to send 1 pm to all. I was more hoping for people that have been very active in the past but forgot all about the game. Just 1 message might be enough to get them addicted again

I see what your getting at, I'll have a look and see if I can do that, if not I´ll ask Peter to give me the permissions to allow me to (which should be OK). I will get prepared but won't send out the PM's until the next Beta is ready to upload. I get the impression that Peter has got back to grips with AR so after the next Beta, and all being well, the official release of AR2 should not be far away.
