Hmmm, well.

It took me 50 minutes to get my first solution.

I've just spent 20 minutes tweaking the catchers on it. I think I'm finished.

Control the chaos. That is my tip.

Re, Ioncorpse's post. Thank God, I'm not alone in my opinion. I would much rather invent and calculate a solution than tweak & tweak & tweak, etc, until something falls into the right place and the solution completes. I will spend hours tweaking one node to get a good solution but with these multiple Dillo randomish levels it can get a bit tedious to tweak one node so one Dillo completes then tweak another node so the next Dillo completes only to put the first Dillo off course, etc.

I am very happy to have multiple Dillo's all with there own course to take, I know that is like having to do three or four levels in one solution, but to me that is better than having to seperate a group of Dillo's, which is chaos, and then guide them to their destination.

That aside, I have just figured out how to do this level without any random behaviour and it should be much cheaper than my first attempt. :)

EDIT. I agree Vankwish, it is controling this new state of chaos that is a new thing to all of us. I think I have got it in this solution as was the case in Waterfall. It could just be the begining of a new learning curve. Possibly it is just a matter of taking some care when designing new levels to be sure there is an organised way of solving it.

Control the chaos. That is your tip?

More chaos - cheaper solution. Isn't it? I know how to make solution without ANY randomness, I think markmadras you found it, but it's not cheap...

Well we will have to wait and see. :)

I'm quite sure my solution isn't as good as is possible, but it's a great score for a little over an hours work I think.

I raise your 1500+

You rise my 1500+ with your 1500+? Cool. :D

1666+++ :lms:
I'm sure we can currently use normal bets. No newbies for now and everyone have 5 days to tweak their solutions.

yeah, I can raise that too :)

Go on, push me. Motivate me to take another look at this one :)

I'm not sure, that my solution is great. And it's very random...impossible to tweak. So if you have more than me - I need to start from the begining.

1750+ :lms: is a good motivation?

That's better, up to 1556 :lms: but some more required.

What for? You mean that you have better score? Rise..if you had - you would rise, isn't it?
Or you scare that someone will beat you after you reveal your score?
If you have 800+ - just say it...if you don't - I will not try to tweak my solution. 8)

Well, I'm awful at the tweaking and randomness stuff, so I just decided to go with a cool-looking stylish solution with no concern for money.

Hehe, ioncorpse.

Only because you told me 750+ and motivated me to tweak, then I will say

800+ :lms:

@straubitude: That's cool. 8) All solutions are cool. I look at them all. There are probably more players on these boards who prefer just to make stylish, fun looking solutions, than want to tweak the maximum score. We need to welcome and encourage such solutions in the competitions.

I suggest we start using the :cms: medal again but here in the A and B leagues for the most creative or entertaining solution. This will appeal to players such as yourself and Sendai45, and probably a bunch of other players.
