So, one missing bidder... hopefully Mark_man will add his results here and claim a moral victory.

So, three entrants, counting myself.
But the entries are all of excellent quality, and fascinating to watch. I particularly liked dec10's rocket powered solution. I was planning something similar, using more conventional counterweight means, but it's lovely to watch.

1st, scoring 2531, was me (cough )
2nd, scoring 2464, was Arunion.
3rd, scoring 2360, was dec10.

As per the "no-repeat" clause, the honour of hosting the next challenge goes to Arunion. I'm terrified by the look of 009.....

Well spotted. I completely missed it.
I had removed that plate and rope in an early solution, but went back to a slightly different version that evolved into the top score.
Those bits were the very first thing I built - intending to hang a dual catcher from it. Then didn't use it, obviously.

So, 2557 actual score....

I had my daughter round for the weekend ,she has just left for Australia .So I was very preoccupied
