Welcome to the 339th AR2 A contest: One

This is a repeat of the very first AR2 A league level, called START by Ioncorpse.
Given his consummate skills, this does seem to be a very "easy" level.
Posted in September 2009, it is already over 5 years old. Even if he decides to compete, he probably won't remember how he solved it in a POC....
It has been downloaded 54 times, but there is no way of knowing if they all competed. I have not looked at the results page, but could see that PeterStock himself was the first player to post a score for it. I'm getting all nostalgic....

Anyway, I gave it a go, to make sure it works with the 2.1.3 Beta version presently used, and all seems well.
It should be a very quick one, so I've given less than the 7 day entry time that might become default. If anyone needs more time, delaying should not be a problem.



AR2 Version 2.1.3 Beta is used, make sure you use the correct version.

If you download this level please submit your solution even if you think it's not good. You help us keep the forum alive and we might be able to help you become a better player.

I'm even thinking, if the host has time to build a POC, that the old challenges can be tweaked.

While this one seemed easy, it did prove to have a little sting or two in the tail.
And finding an economical solution, squeezing out the last few $$$, should prove challenging.

And I find I am already busting to check whether I am competitive with the old winning score or not.... (haven't cheated yet).

It will be interesting to see the difference in the end ^^ 1111+

The only issue with me competing, is that I get to see the other entrants early.
Only realised that after watching Arunion's solution, and getting ideas for how to improve my own.

While Mark_man often waits until the last minute, prohibiting such issues, that might not be practical for everyone.

So, yet more "honour" from here - the host will have to store unopened challenges until the deadline, if he is competing.

I have to say, I did have the ideas already - I just hadn't built them. But now I have seen a working way to build something better, so.... looks like I might be disqualified.
But at least I still get to try the solution.

Perhaps I should have warned you about it whilst sending it. I did consider that it might be an issue.. I could also have waited until the end until sending in the solution

Oh well. We will have to be as honorable as we can. And in the end we will probably just be happier to see how it would end up as when tweaked ^^

I had the same feeling..... about my own ideas and skills, I mean.

Others usually prove more skilled than I at creating most solutions ^^
