Well that's it folks ,nothing to report .
I will take this opportunity to say thank you to all the supporters over the years and I will now gracelessly bow out .
I will pop back now and then see if it picks up but for now I will call time .

I am sorry, I got distracted by other stuff, and didn't get any chance to solve this problem. Today (2 days after closing) is my first opportunity to have a decent go.

Personal difficulties also got in the way of the plans to rejuvenate things. I wish things had gone differently, and would have preferred to keep going somehow.

I will also keep tabs on the forum. Perhaps Peter will cut the price and offer AR for sale through other digital channels, bringing in new members.


I intend to build one "super puzzle" without a finish date, that will keep folk busy until such time as enough folk return here to restart the challenges.
It's been a blast, guys. Thanks for the challenges over the years.

I finished the solution I had started on. It takes forever, even on accelerated time, because it's a "walker".

You'll see straight away how it works. It does finish, so you don't have to hang around for the end....

And today I got my internet.. Well that is unfortunate. I'm really sorry it took so long, and hope to see you again mark_man.

And I did miss you guys.

I will pop back from time to time if things ever pick up ,then I'll come back for sure .I'm missing this game terribly .

Aye, it would be nice if the game became what it once was again, with fresh people showing up and challenges popping in through all the different leagues. We can always hope.

I am sorry that my own personal difficulties messed up getting that done over the summer.

I am also still working out a "mega challenge" to post. Got two candidates so far...

EDIT: Just had an idea for the mega challenge. It remains open until three players post solutions.
Assuming you two guys play it, then a third player will hopefully indicate resumed activity.
In other words, there won't be a closing date. Instead of bids, you post your solutions.

Too busy to fit short time span problems, so, sorry I couldn't always be there at the bottom propping things up
