You do realise, that your seesaw was better than mine.....
I was initially shocked when the trebuchet flinger worked so well.
But upon analysis -
a) the dillo weight helps to get it started. With the seesaw, it's fighting.
b) you only have to get the dillo high enough to get into the portal. Not all the way over the top.
So the dillo helps to get things moving in the beginning, adding to the momentum of the mechanism, and doesn't need as much energy to get to the finish.
Suddenly it seems so obvious.....
Rob also left out my "fun" entry.
Not competitive, but you know how much I like elastic powered flippers....
And I really liked just how perfectly this one worked.
Next challenge should be up by Sunday evening. I have a choice, and am struggling to decide which is the better offering.
