This is your type of level ,I reduced my level by 50 last night and need real competition now for motivation 1555+

Yes I was going to put the word deficit in my sentence but decided not to for some reason

At least you got the motivating competition you were looking for.


I still have fond memories of my POC3 for 297-Vee, if you need a good example of a seesaw to dissect.
They are fairly simple, although the amount of node overlap can significantly change whether the lever "springs" into action, or just gradually takes up the slack.
You can also use free swinging bars to add/lose centrifugal force to increase/decrease the counterweight effect at specific times.

I wouldn't say I'm the expert, either. I just learned from the (mostly Russian) masters when I first started competing.
KuzyaHG builds great levers, and Votart Silak always seems to find the perfect counterweight....
(and apologies to any I may have missed mentioning - these two guys did most of my mentoring)

I was wrong. It came in $2 ahead of my first solution.

Which also means it's one of those "great" challenges....


EDIT: I now have a third completely different solution.

Well now... I've managed to make a solution after looking at 297-vee. But I doubt I'll manage to get it to 1800+ which bythelee has managed three ways... I feel outgunned I haven't even gotten past 1700 yet
