I think it was probably likely that a Wall walker could have been built for 1918, too. A bar could have spanned the hole, saving $10
But I loved Mark_man's winning result.
Very clever and special. Makes superb use of the hole. Tuning it for the dead stop in the portal must have been a nightmare. But amazing to watch.

And, whatever gave the idea for using the dillo to knock over the tower? (Probably an early build that was just had the dillo launcher in it, and "watched what happened"...)
