Time for the results.

I'm very happy with the amount of different solutions you all came up with. Not all are competitive but even in the more expensive solutions you can find some very cool mechanics.

And the winner is...............................bythelee with a tweaking nightmare scoring 1832  Very cool solution!

Thanks for playing and hope to see you in the next :D

Well deserved bythelee excellent, I did have a very good idea that you would go with this type of construction but any attempts at this for me ended up way to expensive .

Very impressive solutions all around :D

As usual it is impossible for me to make a cheap lifter. ^^ This was the best I could manage.

Wow.

I mean, WOW.

I think I prefer everyone else's solution to my own...... Amazing stuff, guys.
It's been a long, long time since we've seen such a masterclass of diversity.

KuzyaHG's trigger release for the RobLifter is divine. (and with my catcher, would have scored 1812, I think!)

Mark_man's knee-jerk lifter (1820) is also sublime. I simply cannot believe so little material achieved such lift. Nor the Mi2 lifter. Heck, nor any of the others...... Even Arunion's rubber punt is poetry in motion.

I'm embarrassed to win with my crappy cantilever.
(I think Rob was shocked by the tweaking nightmare, not by the score! He had full experience of that, as he took it to 1834. I could have had that, if I had spotted the catcher change, as I had a lob just like his about 10% of the time it took to make it work at 1832 - but it smashes that twin plate catcher.
It really is the most awful thing to tune I have ever built.)
