In which case, 828+

I found it very hard to achieve a sensible catcher. Things seemed very "tweaky". Add one small rope at the bottom and the failure up top changed completely.

Oh, and a little spoiler, seeing that we were told prices are not changed:
Ropes are cheaper too. Only $1.

got a second solution. But sadly it was slightly more expensive.
