AR2 A Hourglass Results

Well, that was.... different.

A chaotic level, with six competitors! :D

Most people followed my devious plan, and were forced to construct things in the top chamber, in the neck, and at the bottom. Muah-ha-ha.
One or two superheroes managed otherwise.

An early shock was a highly competitive rocket (yes, rocket) solution from Votart.
I even thought it had a chance of winning, until Mark_man outbid it.
Then Paolof sent me his first solution, right in the same scoring ballpark, which I tweaked to 1900.

But, in the end, the winner was quite simply ridiculously simple, with one rubber and a small piece of cloth. Simply stunning.

1st, scoring 1946, was Paolof. :lms: Congratulations, and a quite spectacular comeback. We've missed you.
2nd, scoring 1890, was Mark_man.
3rd, scoring 1872, was Votart Silak's rocket.

Thanks to decsystem10, Rob, and Arunion for the extra entries. You all made it a quite astonishing competition, way beyond expectation. :D

Oh, and out of interest, it seemed as if the "setup tweakiness" where building on one part of an anchored structure inexplicably changes how the solution behaves, is associated with initial overlaps. I think it might be the order in which overlaps are resolved changing during the first cycle, so bear that in mind for the future.
I altered the challenge so that all of the dillos were not touching anything, and it behaved properly. My first version had dillos that were "close", some obviously too close, and found that changing the portal catcher could change how the dillos fell from above...... :? (Not just speed and trajectory, but even the order was greatly affected, with the red dillos nowhere near their previous position)

Thanks for all yours "welcome back".
Just the time to find out an old problem and put it in the next contest.

I think it is possible to solve this level with only the rubber in the upside (or better with a simple cloth). Who wants to try? ;)
