Welcome to the 262th AR2 A contest: Experiment

This level is an EXPERIMENT. If in 24 hours will be 2-3 argumented votes to change level or reduce time to solve - I will.
RULES ARE:
1. Don't use any material.
2. Play in EDIT MODE, you can add only :armadillo:
3. Score = number of :armadillo: used, to complete level with red and green armadillos, minimal score wins.
4. Added armadillos can be of any size, anywhere.

AR2 Version 2.1.3 Beta is used, make sure you use the correct version.

If you download this level please submit your solution even if you think it's not good. You help us keep the forum alive and we might be able to help you become a better player.

Well, it's certainly a novel idea.

Perhaps I'm just tuned to thinking the "right" way, but it seems really easy.

On the cons, it's tricky to avoid damaging the original level. I accidentally caught a finish portal when trying to adjust a dillo.
And naming the solution is also awkward. I appended my name and result to the original level name - makes it easier to find in the list when selecting "edit level".

I'll open with 20- dillos. (ie less than 20, since it's minimal score that wins)

The idea is brilliant, effectively turning dillos into the only building material.
Not sure how to increase the challenge - perhaps more obstacles and deflections are necessary.

PS (edit) I think this challenge deserves to stand as is because of it's highly unique and different nature.
Although, there may be limited options for improving, so an earlier finish may be appropriate. Depends how easily others get to grips with the building constraints.

I worried about this. On other hand - we didn't try such levels before and I wasn't sure, how easy/hard it is for everybody. Would it be "almost impossible" for someone if I make it harder or it's easy one and will be a draw.

Maybe we will end it earlier.

Cool level!

15- :armadillo:

I have some ideas to reduce numer of dillo's but I don't think we will need that much time.
