My second attempt scored worse than my first, but was nicely entertaining.

I think I have an idea how to get close to a good score, but it means using my weakest skills

I haven't given up yet, though.

OK, so my weak skills got me to 1844.
And that's including a LOT of frilly extras needed to nurse the dillo out in time, so I'm hopeful some careful tuning can challenge Ioncorpse.

Plus, there's another concept lurking in the back of my mind that I'm keen to have a go at....

Ok, ok, I give up. 1888 only, with rubber. I have a few ideas, how to make it cheaper, without rubber, but every attempt to make 1890+ failed.
