Time is (finally  ) up

It's been a shaky ride with some downtime and weird problems but the forum runs a lot faster now so a big THANKS for the guys fixing the forum!

Most of our contests (including mine) can be solved by piecing together a couple of standard tricks we all know and love. I wanted to make a level where the standard tricks would be of little or no use. You found a couple of completely different ways of solving this so for me the contest was a succes :D

Last but certainly not least is Reuben. He spent an enormous amount of cash on a cool and realistic marble track. Thanks!

Third place is for SketchyGalore. Collecting all dillo's in a wacky partywagon dropping of al the green dillo's before the red slowly roll home. Nice one!

Second place is for bythelee. Holding the green dillo's in place to allow the red dillo's to roll home first. Very cool structure to lift and release the green dillo's.

:lms: First place is for markman. Very economical way of lifting the green and sorting the dillo's. Congratulations, great work! :lms:

Thanks for playing and hope to see you in the next.

You never saw mine! I never entered it because I couldn't quite get the last one in.
Nice work everyone. Looking at the entries makes me wonder why I ever bother trying. Totally outclassed!

beauty is in the eye of the beholder  At least it's an original concept and it scored pretty good as well.

While it is often true that the most elegant and beautiful solution is also the cheapest, being pretty doesn't win anything in these challenges!

I had concepts along both of Sketchy's (everything to one side, then the remainder back again) and even something like mark_man's winning setup, taking the greens up and over the reds.
But I couldn't make either of them work, so well done guys.
The marble run is also a great idea. I'm making a note of it for later.....

I very nearly didn't get the last man in with my lifter, like Andrew. Mostly it was a green that got left behind on the cloth, and the first time all 4 greens went, a red got stuck. Often the dillos interfered with the counterweight, stopping the breaking of the plate. It was a bit of a nightmare to tweak.....

And if I hadn't got really lucky with that final tweak, Sketchy would have been second. Great effort.

Yes, I know it's the wrong challenge, but I'm hoping the break will give me new inspiration for those dropping balls.

A tweak of Mark_man's flipper sorter - doing without the falling weight to trigger the greens.

The last green has just enough momentum to get over that troublesome anchor point.....

I Only had time for a very small tweak in this level just to get it above my 1650 one . Well done squeezing more from it

Good tweak... and there's still more room for improvement...
