I got this ready for 5th November 2009, which is when I last thought I'd win!
Still, it was meant to use stuff that never usually comes into play.

This from the person that brought us Doubleshot and Doubleshot 2.....

Have to agree though. This is one of the more impossible challenges.
It was fairly easy to get 3 or 4 dillos home. But I reckon you get locked into whatever method you start with, and it'll be very hard to come up with alternative solutions for all 5.
I got very stuck with 4 dillos sorted. The 5th took a lot of tweaking, and a bigger lot of luck.

Andrew, I see you've caught the "premonition" bug.
I wasn't actually saying my solution for EarstoEarrings wasn't competitive, just that I wasn't going to be present to post the next challenge, so I couldn't win it. As I said, I have ceased estimating the competitiveness of my solution, because the "weak" ones win and the "sure thing" ones come last. We both got slaughtered by the POC though.
Sorry I missed Ski - that looked like a lot of fun.
