Wow, awesome scores. And so many ways to do the same thing. Marvellous!
Well done guys. Even Andrew was right in there, this time!

I had a "breaker" early on, but didn't understand the potential, or how cheap it could be.

The "hangon" solution was directly out of Pinball. Well, the aftermath of Pinball, where I fused my illegal solution with Andrew's wrapping system....
I didn't see any "light" solutions better than 1832 - did I miss it?

And "Jumpstart" came from seeing a strange jump when trying to build the "conventional" solution added below. Took a bit of tuning to get the big dark forces jump, with enough control of the little dillo to catch him, but it was all by accident rather than design.

I'm starting to disrupt spammers from logging in by changing their passwords. Hoping that will tie them (and their emails) up.

PS: Happy birthday Reuben! And great solution, too. You'll soon see that bars are almost as heavy as plates for half the price.....

PPS somehow it seems my two later conventional submissions have been missed.....

They aren't anything special, just showing a "conventional" approach to solving the problem.

Even I was there?

Yeah you're right, I was closer than I get normally... I did have a 1950 on the go but I gave that up when it became apparent it still wouldn't be good enough -- basically, rob's solution with a slightly more expensive breaker. I didn't think of using gravity to break the bar. oops.

Anyway nice one rob, & everyone.... I'm happy to take even a bronze medal.
