Second place is for Markman scoring 1522. Similar to Sketchy's solution but using rubber instead of elastics. Better... but not good enough...

And the winner is Bythelee scoring 1588. Clean synchronised swings for both dillo's and a cool cantilever for the bottom dillo that is triggered by the top dillo. Congrats!

I had a feeling there was $50 or so to save on my cantilever...... Thanks Rob - I doubt I could have done such a good job of tweaking things.
Mostly because I never considered the first dillo might portal away before the second arrived.

I do like the "raising the road" idea in Sketchy's solution. Not economical, but fun to watch regardless.

I might not have submitted anything if you all didn't look so lonely over here I'm guessing my solutions won't be too grand for a while, but I'm happy to submit them anyway! In the case of this one, it took me a while just to solve the thing in the first place
