Time for the results. I knew it would be hard to solve this without going over the top (or down under) so I'm pleased to say two of you found good solutions through the corridor. Nice work!

3th place is for Bythelee scoring 1688.
2nd place is for Votart scoring 1694.

Superbly well done, Mark_man. The dual purpose yanker is both cheap and effective. Great job.

I'm highly surprised to see how competitive my over-the-top solution was. Possible chance to save $16 on the right hand portal catcher, but I didn't bother, thinking I was hopelessly outclassed. (well, I was, just not by as much as I expected. )
