Welcome to the 236th AR2 A contest: Outside The Box

AR2 Version 2.1.3 Beta is used, make sure you use the correct version.

If you download this level please submit your solution even if you think it's not good. You help us keep the forum alive and we might be able to help you become a better player.

I'm finding this extremely hard .I will be happy just to complete it .

Indeed.
The red dillo in particular (bottom) is very close to going beyond the limits at which the Level failed message is flagged.
I got it a few times during development, although my present solution avoids it.
And I guess this tells us that the POC didn't go that far. :twisted:

Assuming there IS a POC :twisted:

I was also finding it very difficult to even get close to finishing. But got there in the end.

I accidentally made my POC in level editor and it worked just fine. After posting the contest I tried to do that same solution and it got the level failed warning

My first efforts were epic FAIL.
I started cursing that nasty, evil Rob for his deviousness.
My sanity was saved by another Eureka moment.

And we've almost got it easy compared to some of the challenges that used to get set.
AR2_A_149_Above, for example. It probably won't help, but might give some clues and direction......

Then sleep on it for a day or three. Let the subconcious think about it. That usually works for me.

Your advice and Rob's kick up the backside helped ,I never actually used any of the methods but it did get me back trying .
I did it after a lot of trial and error

I thought those solutions might at least help with ideas, even if they weren't really suitable for this challenge.
I was amazed how many different clever ways there were to get "above" the boundary.

You'll probably have more and better ideas before the deadline too.....

In all honesty I'm just so happy I did it. I have got some new ideas but not sure if ill beat what I have now.
