Yup, simple it is. My first solution took me 3 minutes.

Epic fail , ASAM or dark solution will win? (not from me, I finished with light one and dark isn't very familiar for me in v2)

I'm up for a quicker finish I'm tweaked out .I'm not good at dark , so only light from me .took me around 20 min then around 10min to tweak. I've had around 2 more hours at it but none 1700+

I tried bottom and dark a bit, it's a pain in the a*s for me, on this level due to design.

I haven't gone much further from my first effort. Just refinement of the idea.

1759+ and that's my limit.....

PS happy to finish early too.

1760 With rubber, better isn't possible imho. I'll try bottom once more, if i'll have time.

exactly the same for me only I cannot get the 20 working only 22 .I will put one more hour in trying to get the 20 working .bottom way I can get it to the bottom for less than 30 but trying to get it up for cheap is problomatic

Well, it isn't pretty, but I managed a new solution.

1760+ and yes, I do mean +!

Analysing what everyone's said here so far, I think the absolute limit for the top solution is:
Rubber launcher for $200
Deflector for $20 or $22
portal catcher for $20 (or maybe $18).

I did manage to get a portal catcher working for $18, but used a $22 deflector, so I was also stuck at $1760.
Theoretically, the limit for a rubber solution would thus be $1762.

But it won't help you now....

I went under, and while my first effort was just 1764, I have now boosted the result to 1790+.
Light solution, of course, since I'm so bad at dark.
