Time for the results. Only 4 players (too hard?/too boring?/too whatever?) but they all did both levels. Gravity proved itself once more, going down is obviously cheaper.

Winner is Sendai45 scoring 890 going down

Great solutions, everyone! I love watching spinning contraptions, and how they seem to laugh at gravity. Still testing my level before I post it, but it should be up soon!
