Same idea from decsystem10, but not so cheap. There was a solution from asam, very expensive, but different, he forgot to send it to me.
Also I made poc, 9990$, can be tweaked about 200$, dark ofcourse.

Deceptively easy in the end.

A simple sleigh ride down the hill! I was soooo on the wrong track.
Makes me wish I lived in a country with decent snow. And hills.

And a simple launch ramp tweak to save another $30 on KuzyaHG's solution, too.

Also, I noticed no-one sent in a cheap "easy" portal. I had two, one for 9978 (cloth and bar) and one for 9980 (plate), and I'm sure everyone could have got these.

Yes, exactly. I merely posted it for completeness' sake.

On another note, now that I've been "shown the way", I spent a pleasant 30 minutes tweaking KuzyaHG's sled into something leaner and meaner.
Saved almost $100, meaning portal 2 was reachable with a spend of $140, and a score of $10160.

Now, if only I could think of the right solution before the competition ends....
