BRILLIANT A-LEAGUE Level
(See the Beginners League for how to do it  )
But I haven't. And have ended up with a rather expensive solution.

300+ (From 2K - you must be joking? - I'll let my sub stand - and Newbie out of School can be taught another lesson  )

This is what the A-League is for - I believe.

Pro-players have fun, no matter how high score is. For me - it's just an additional information which helps everyone. New ones understand real score even without high bets, so the veterans...

I agree with Rob.
I've already told Mark I've left. I gave it another couple of weeks. Mark left too (of his own volition) and this one just about has done it for me.
Enjoy.
Goodbye.

:o
This is not cool!
Maybe the pros could use some kind of trick for posting scores.
E.g.: Since those pros can pretty much guess what the winning score would be, then, as mentioned by rob, posting all those 1200+ 1300+ bears little meaning to them.
The "fun" part of the score is last two digits anyway (depending on level complexity and budget). So we can restrict scores in A league to the last two digits only.

And an improbable case study:
new competition is posted with a budget of 2000$
pro1: 00+
pro2: 56+
new_player: 70+
pro1: 71+

Yeah it's a bit stupid but i'm sure you can come up with some ideas as well

Why the rush to finish 3 or 4 day competitions in one day? I would love a real time game but since there are so few players and they come from different timezones that's not going to happen anytime soon.

If you dowload a level and the scores are already above what you score there's no point in posting in that topic. Sure you can say "nice level" but that's about it. Chances are you don't even bother submitting....

Just play nice the first 24 hours or so. Post a nice "newbie bet" (and submit your firsttry solution) and wait for some more people to join before you start upping the score.

I agree with not rushing for the first days, and i've been trying to follow this but sometimes you can just forget such things. Maybe a friendly reminder would be appropriate in addition to existing advice to new players.

As for real time battles, I am willing to participate in one. I believe it's not that hard to organize. Let us just start a thread where everyone would post their timezone and time frames for oncoming weekend. Half an hour is all we need to run the whole thing.

Accept my apologies!Image

OK! From now I will write only "more" or "less" or, in general, I will not write anything.
