It was good to see everyone involved scoring within $40 of each other while all having very different solutions. It's worth looking at them all.
Rob dropped a 1037 on me just a few hours after the competition was posted and nobody managed to beat it. Unless we count rob, who went on to beat his own score another 3 times including two totally different solutions scoring 1042.
Finally he capped it off and managed to squeeze the last few dollars off to win with a final score of 1048. Great work rob and well deserved.
Everyone should look at the 1037 from rob. It's the only one that used the $1 timer and to great unusual effect.
Special mention goes to Arunion. I gave him a tip to experiment with swings via pm, and he managed an impressive 1012 quite quickly.
Final note to dave and any new players: if I'm the host dave send me your solutions. I will help the less experienced players with tips on what to try or how to improve the solution they already have. I remember doing the same thing for mark, not so long ago, and look at him now.
