Welcome to the 6th AR2 A contest: AR1 (And I'll say straight away DO NOT USE AR1 to play this)

As a wise man ( ) once said: If you are bad at naming levels make levels that name themselves.(So I have done it again)

AR2 Version 2.1.2 Beta is used, make sure you use the correct version.
If you download this level please submit your solution even if you think it's not good. You help us keep the forum alive and we might be able to help you become a better player.
Prices are changed.

Hope you enjoy this one, should be fairly easy to solve but have lots of tweakability.

Hmm. My first solution is $1566. I must be missing something here.

You don't know the Power of The Newbie :!: :D

Dave.
The only problem with making things totally idiot-proof is the unerring capacity to misinterpret the ability of total idiots.

Hoping to be competitive in this one. Not much room for tweaking our solution though...

I just had a spare hour and had a look at this one.

I can see 1680+ but it would take more tweaking time than I have available just to get the first POC to work. Maybe I can find some more time before this comp ends if I thought it was worth doing.

However I can imagine it wouldn't be enough anyway.

Edit: These A leagues are too time consuming to compete in for people like myself with limited time. Were you guys aware of that?
I have had a look at the last few but didn't compete because they would all take too long to solve and tweak.

It may be a good idea to simplify these A leagues to get maximum players. Save B league for multiple dillo solutions that take longer to tweak.

Just a suggestion.

To clarify my point:

I spent about an hour+ last night on this one: trying different things, trying to move the dillos cheaply. After that hour+ I had all the dillos bouncing close to their portals, and had developed cheap catchers. Score was 1683. However, I knew each dillo would take at least another 30+ minutes to actually get bouncing perfectly, and probably longer to get the catch. So that was 1+ hours just to get a cheap competitive concept without even proving it worked.

I also had a single structure that was used to direct two of the dillos, so that would be very tweaky to achieve the right result for both dillos. Overall I knew it would take a further 2-3 hours to get my concept to a proof. Maybe even longer if I was trying to squeeze the last few dollars out of it because each dillo would take quite a long time to get right again.

Ultimately that is more time than I have.
