Aww well that's no fun... I came upon mine by accident in a matter of half an hour. I'd like competition!

Here is some help: My blue catcher costs $38 and also acts as "tools" for purple. My red catcher costs $30, and is also "tools" for the grey.

Also: My actual score is only 4317. You can do it!

You will play this Level or always be cast out as Armadillo Pooh
So ioncorpse - I expect a solution file from you :D

I also want to know what everyone thinks of this level (since it is my 1st)
Is it worthy of A League :?:
Were the Prices right :?:
Was it fun :?:
Was the Contest Duration right :?:
Were the Rules clear enough :?: ROFL - know that one :!:
Can you play AR2 if you can only see in Monochrome :?:

What do the medals in the Smilies stand for :?: - And do I have to dish one out to the winner :?:
(I know ioncorpse's feet)

I'll accept all comments from players and do my best to post solutions and a poor POC tomorrow.
Dave

Here is a nice short answer IMHO :D

Is it worthy of A League. Yes, about right, easy to solve but plenty to tweak. Just a little time consuming due to its randomness where luck can play a big part as sendai45 has found.

Were the Prices right Yes.

Was it fun Yes.

Was the Contest Duration right Near enough, but most A league contests are only run for 3 to 4 days. Contest duration is not set in stone and you, as the host, can always make it longer or shorter. Looks like this one could end tonight.

Were the Rules clear enough Your rules did state quite clearly that, and I quote -Rules are standard - Prices are modified - Answers are dollarsleft PLUS $500 for each 'dillo in it's correct home)
Natural 'dillo in the top Natural Portal =$500. This can only mean that to get the bonus each Dillo has to go to its corresponding coloured portal (that is its correct home) not that you can put them all in the top blue one (that is only the correct home for the yellow Dillo). So IMHO yes.

Can you play AR2 if you can only see in Monochrome Obviously if severely colour blind it would be a problem when multiple coloured Dillos are involved, maybe Peter could produce an edited version with numbered Dillos.

What do the medals in the Smilies stand for - And do I have to dish one out to the winner There was a time, not so long ago, when we had the Gold medal for Light solutions and the Brown one for Dark solutions and there is a section somewhere on the site that kept a record of who had won what. Now it is just the Gold medal for a win. The Blue medal was used before my time but I think it was used for design awards.

Sorry, had no time. :(
Good level, but I don't think that I'll participate in any contest before 28th.

Is it worthy of A League :?:

Absolutely. Very imaginative and entertaining, yet not very hard conceptually.

Were the Prices right :?:

There is no right. As long as you don't make rockets cheaper, I'm ok with anything else.

Was it fun :?:

Pinball is always fun!

Was the Contest Duration right :?:

Yes. You chose 5 days, which is fine, but most other A League Contests are not that long.

Were the Rules clear enough :?: ROFL - know that one :!:

Yes, they were. You always get some odd questions, but you did a fine job explaining the rules.

Can you play AR2 if you can only see in Monochrome :?:

I might be colourblind, but I don't see monochrome :D I was mostly joking.

What do the medals in the Smilies stand for :?: - And do I have to dish one out to the winner :?:
(I know ioncorpse's feet)

Purely cosmetical. A long time ago, a wise wizard watched over us through his crystal ball, and took notice of how many medals we won. That is why I have the Contest Veteran symbol to the right. Sadly this wizard has grown tired and weary, and no longer cares for his devoted 'Dillo soldiers.

I have only one criticism. The level embraces the concept of chaos. It encourages victory through nonsensical tweaking rather than through concepts. This, I am not thrilled about. This, is also a problem with many other levels.

Bottom line:
Good Job, Dave :)

Many thanks for your feedback guys,
As you know - I'll live and learn (I hope :!: )
I didn't want to close this level early, 'cos I knew that some of us were Busy.
Closing will still happen as posted tonight (assuming I can create a zip file :D)
Has the winner got an A League level ready :?:
