I am utterly disgusted (in a good way) by some of the submissions I have gotten so far :D

For practical reasons I am pushing the deadline forward two hours.

I'm in out! Only 1816 :lms: :(
Damned bounce :x . Search of such solutions already began to bother and to disgust me.

Do we need a debate about the bounce, should it be removed :? :?:

definately not remove it. it just needs to be a little more predictable.

I agree, if it is fixed in the next beta it should be great fun to play with :D .

I wonder how much it will be reduced. I really think it should only be a really minor feature of the physics. Like max 5% bounce or something. The way it is now is utterly ridiculous.

Agreed, and Peterstock is aware of the defect and has promised to fix it in Beta2. I don't think it will reduce very much, Peter's intention was to make it as true to the laws of physics as possible. Clearly, though, it may reduce a little but the important thing is to make it regular.

This game is going to be so much better and less time consuming when the bounce is fixed and the tweakiness has gone. I am sure we have all spent a lot of time tweaking and retweaking a solution to make it work when only one node should need adjusting.
