Welcome to the 8th AR2 A league contest: Fountain

Rules:
AR2 Beta#1 version is used. Cheapest solution wins. All solutions considered as light.
Prices are changed significantly to make all materials possibly useful. Be creative to find the cheapest solution.
Submissions by PM
Jackhammers are banned.

Notes: I'm not really testing anything here other than material pricing and trying to create levels where unusual materials can be used, and new ways of solving things can be found. I've tested quite a few very different ways of doing this level and priced the materials so each solution is quite close in price. It's easy enough to solve, but can you find the cheapest way to do it. Think tension, rubber, elastic, and even rockets, along with more traditional methods. Any one of them could be the key to the cheapest solution.
It's much easier than it looks.

Naming convention is:
[DollarsRemaining]-[YourFourmName]-[SolutionName]

Example:
2500-peterstock-mysolution

:) I actually liked this level. This one seems to have a lot of different options and nothing too terribly annoying or difficult about it.

That was the idea straubitude.

What don't you like about it Votart? Are you missing the easy option?

Edit: Oh, I just saw you sent me a solution. Haha. Yes, you really are missing the easy option.

Okay, it's day two, and I think more than just you missed it Votart, because it's quiet around here. So here is your tip so you can all start enjoying it.

Push the dillos up through the gap above them. So they can roll along the top of the metal plates. That makes it so much easier. I really thought that was going to be obvious. Whether you push/lift just one, two or all four up there is your choice depending on how much it costs and how much it saves. That was really what this level was about. There are many ways to get one or two dillos up there too, and some cheap ways if you tweak a little. Don't forget how cheap I price tension, rubber, elastic. Getting all four up there isn't even that expensive.

It seems it is taking some of you guys a while to get used to using tension, rubber, elastic. That is exactly what I'm trying to test out with my recent levels. I thought it would be fun to use them more, instead of the same old metal bar, rope, metal plate solutions.

Eh, what is random about it?

That's ridiculous. Two dillos bumping into each other is no more random than one dillo bumping into a metal plate or an anchor point.

All tweaks produce predictable results. That is NOT random.

And the cheapest solution I have found is utterly predictable, and tweaks exactly as you would expect.

So I'm sorry you think it is random. I might suggest you look at your 38 dillo B league before you complain about colliding dillos being random. Or that crazy super random last A league level. Come on, seriously.

Both your levels can be random, but they don't have to be.
Since we have multiple dillo's and multiple portals dillo's will probably bump into eachother either at the start or at the finish. If they don't it's like you made multiple separate levels in one level.

Two dillos bumping into each other is no more random than playing a game of pool or snooker. It's challenging, but predictable.

Well Ion, your level looks very random, but if you find the right way to solve it it is not random at all. Same goes for this level. Some way's to solve it create some randomness but I can see non-random solutions as well.

Two dillo's bumping into eachother is currently a lot more predictable than one dillo bouncing on some metal plate.....

And what about 4 dillos + bouncing at once? IMHO level isn't very random, but randomness rises exponential when you tries to create cheaper & cheaper solution, battle for last 10-20$ is hellish. But I will play it, pretty good level.
