Yes and I just took a look at your solution, Ioncorpse.

Agreed, when you try to save $$$ like you did, then you are asking the multiple dillos to all bounce around perfectly. Then it becomes super tweaky like my solution to your last A league, and ultimately quite random.

My first solution to your A league wasn't very random at all. It was quite easy. But when I tried to save $50 I asked way more of myself and it became super random.

However, your solution to this one made life 10 times more difficult than my solutions that are of similar score. That's why I was so confused. My best solution doesn't require anything like as much tweaking. I thought of the concept and had it working in a few minutes. I could also rebuild it in 1-2 minutes.

Like I said, there are many ways to do this and I'm already seeing completely different ways to any of my solutions. I'm surprised really because I thought my solutions were quite obvious.

But after seeing your solution, I can understand why you complained about randomness. You did choose quite a random solution though that required everything to bounce around just perfectly.

The main problems are:
1. We don't have tweaker program right now. It will be fixed in AR2 release. Tweaker is allow to transform random lucky tweak into binary search (most times).
2. We have random bounce, I hope it will be fixed later.

I have another solution, much better than previous, but "Another day, same ***" :) Problem of "last mile" is still here.

I'm not talking about "level is bad", it's really good. Especially I love 4 catchers, a lot of cool tricks can be done.
I want to say, that IMHO "last mile" should be (in most cases) in the end of the level, not on the start.
And I'm a fan of levels "Best creative solution will win, even if it's not tweaked at all". This could happend with you V4nKw15h (I learned, how to type you nick without copy-paste :)))) ) in last A league, you could win without tweaking...

P.S. Don't pay attention to this post. Just flow of thoughts...

I've had the pleasure of seeing solutions from a few of you now, and I see that the methods some of you are using require lots of bouncing to work. That must be a problem with this bouncing bug. Sorry about that.

The bounce bug is quite random, and my solution didn't need a single accurate bounce. I bet that makes you think :) My real point is that I didn't get frustrated during testing personally, but I can see why the cheapest solutions could be very difficult.

However, don't think too deep on it, because Ioncorpse is currently beating my POC by about $30.

Isn't it just such a great feeling though when you keep going and going at trying to get that ultimate solution to work, and then it does!! It's like, "F$^k YEAH!!"

My problem with this level is trying to keep my score close to the bidding :lol:

Now up to 650 :lms: so I am getting closer.

That bounce bug is something I will be very happy to see repaired in Beta 2, only one bounce in my solution but even that took a while to tweak without loosing the correct movement with the other Dillo's.

Looks like this will be yours Ioncorpse, just matched your 666 but unlikely to be able to get much more. You have a lot of +'s so it's not worth me tweaking for hours unless that is a bluff :) .
