1st place - Alex (1642*10)
2nd place - Votart Silak (1600*10)
3rd place - bythelee (1588*10)

Start money was too much.
I should give you only 1000.
But despite it all of you are masters and gave dillo on the top!

Thanks! See you in the next!

Oops, a bit busy to play armadillo yesterday and i forgot to send my solution. Different approach, and tweakable ;)
Congratulations Alex (both Alex :) )

Well done Guys,

Nice to see such variety. And I'm still learning new things....

But I thought ioncorpse had the shortest route, and potentially cheapest solution.

Here it is: 1668 x 10

And it will probably even work with the three-lobed wheel I tried.

Yup, the 3-spoke wheel worked. :D
16820 (1682x10)

Absolute pain to tune the right amount of "flick" to clear the top but not overshoot the landing. The second "strike" of the counterweight on the dillo changes with every adjustment, so you get multiple effects influencing the result for every one change. Increase a basket rope by 1 pixel and he falls out halfway up.... that sort of thing....
But got there in the end.
It might be possible to shave another few bits of rope and cloth here and there (dillo basket especially), but I'll stop now.
