I have an idea for a fun game here on ARF:

Go to an old post of yours and edit it, adding a secret code, then post here a clue or two that people can use to find the post or topic the post is in.

The goal is to make it hard to find the post but make it easily recognizable as the correct post. To find the post, one would have to use the search feature, looking for specific words you mentioned in your clue or search certain topics in a forum. Because you cant search for a certain color or font size, you can make the code huge and red so it can easily be seen when found.
When the code is found, someone can reply with the code and where they found it. Make sure you don't edit the post to say "Secret code is ____" because you can easily search for "secret code"

An example:

Post edited: ARFC C XXIII Results, post #2 (i really didn't edit it actually)

Clue:
You can find a code in a topic that cresta created to show a special result.

How I think it could be found:
Notice I used "special" and "result", so you could narrow down the topic to a result thread in the C-contest (the contest with special rules)

Here's one for real:
You can find the code in the topic of a contest I hosted.
I never won a contest in that forum though. :D

It's also easy to cheat in this one. You could just click on the "profile" button below any post and "Find all posts by <user>" link.

No, you edit a post and the "find all posts" thing doesn't work too well. How much do you want to search through hundreds of unformatted posts?

http://www.ouverture-facile.com Its a fun puzzle game with a couple of levels like this posting game.

but slightly more on topic, view all posts would work with some people (like me), so I wont be making any myself, I will probably start playing when I get more time though

Yeah, I'm pretty safe so I can make 'em. That is, if I can find Ike's!

"I knew who won, but I didn't host." That is a tough one, Ike!!

I will check out that game.

Am I allowed to give help??? I know what the clue references to, but i really cant be bothered to trawl through Ike's posts!!!
In an ideal world, where anything and everything is in perfect form, is there a perfect form of imperfection?

Work THAT one out! :)
