Memorable Moments and an AR(F) Fan Video

Postby JustcallmeDrago » Sat Aug 11, 2007 5:51 am

This thread is mainly self-explanatory.

I'm creating a video about AR/ARF and I'm searching for the coolest or most revolutionary things done in AR. But I can't search through every level by myself.

Please post levels you think have memorable parts or are action-packed so I can record those moments and make a fan video out of the clips.

*The "moments" should be short. Some moments don't look spectacular unless they are short. Gamma57's Nuke is much better if only viewed in the latter part of the explosion :D

*The viewer should be able to quickly tell that what they're seeing is awesome, because otherwise it will go over their head if they are watching a bunch of clips back to back.

*Some moments look better in a certain view or a certain angle. Be sure to say this in your post with your level (if it applies)

*I probably won't use every level posted.

Does anyone know of a great, free screen recorder that doesn't have a watermark like "unregistered hypercam 2"?

Here are some levels that I'll probably use:

Watching the entire jump isn't that neat, but if you cut away sooner, it looks a lot better, especially at this angle.

Thanks.

Alright new idea. Does anyone know of a program that will take a bunch of pictures and make a video out of them?

I could go into frame by frame mode and take many screenshots then stitch them together and the result would be perfect.

Try FRAPS
http://www.fraps.com/download.php

I dont think its put a watermark on anything I have made. It makes AVI movies, but I forget what codec it uses.
It also can do screenshots over a certain interval, though I havent tested this.
Levels:

UNW's solution to Mcginges GoThrough level. (the ending segments at normal speed look cool)
and maybe DrRoys tweak of my C-level 5.26. Its so fast. lol. but his catcher looks cooler.

I'll look at that first one and I'm definitely using the second. It's the fastest thing I've ever seen.

Frankly, I'm bored with the contests. Does anyone else have any neat things they think should be recorded?
