Article: Physicists have 'solved' mystery of levitation

I can't wait to see how they did it & and find out what is up with the "lens".

+ They mention "the force"

It's a good read. :D

:O

so that means in the next armadillo run we can FLOAT?

Wow. It is really amazing. So many shocking science discoveries in last years! I predict appearance of flying cars in 10 years, personal levitating transport in 30 years and teleportation in 50! :)

Wow :) I think that the cheapest way to travel into future is to build spaceship flying very fast, nearly to light speed (even 60-80% would be very fine). It would slow down time for astronauts, so they would feel "traveling in the time" effect :)

Here is one of the most truthful stories about UFOs. It tells about Australian pilot Frederick Valentich and his alien abduction: http://ufoexperiences.blogspot.com/2005/10/frederick-valentich-update.html

what about triing to build a spaceship like douglas adams wrote in his triology The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Like,

Bistromatic Drive, an engine or propulsion system that operates on the same kind of skewed, irrational math that is commonly used by groups of diners attempting to divide up a restaurant bill.

or

Infinite Improbability Drive. The principle is that as its drive reaches infinite improbability, the ship passes simultaneously through every conceivable and non-conceivable point in every conceivable and non-conceivable universe (in other words, when one activates the Infinite Improbability Drive, the ship is literally everywhere at once). It is then possible to decide at which point you actually want to be when improbability levels decrease.

The Infinate probability drive is more likely.

But heres a matter of much more scientific importance than any other on the thread

GIANT DEATH BADGERS!!!

Now we need an armadillo run 2 which simulates physics on a quantum level so we can combine the force and levitation to create a super machine
