Anyone else not able to figure out how to break the top cloth cheap with Light? It's pretty easy dark....

Didn't see the rockets at the bottom...

lol, that one is easy to do, the breaking the top cloth that is, and it is possible without using tension (either tension or compression).

Just need to figure out the next part.

2846-L? I might be able to tweak my solution a bit more.

Also, what are the rules on tweaking? I've heard some people say that they can tweak the level a bit, but I don't understand as far as the rules go for that.

You can tweak your solution as much as you want to make it cheapest, just depends on whether you want to spend the time doing it :).

Can't change the level in edit mode if that's what you mean.

oh, I thought tweaking meant that they modify the stuff that was origionally in the level such as adding tensioin or compression to the stuff.

Also, I looked at the contest rules regarding light and dark, and well, I think mine is sort of a combination because I do use at least one intersecting material, however I don't use any 'force' for the pieces I added, although theres plenty of rocket explosions and destruction going on.

Destruction is fine as long as it's not created by overlapping materials. If overlapping materials causes destruction then it's dark. If any part of your solution is dark, then the whole thing is dark

Theres already plenty of destruction coming from the rockets already there, lol :)

I do use overlapping materials to 'do something' to one of the rockets (trying not to drop a clue to my solution, lol), although it self destructs anyway. The four spinning rocket things shatter all over the place anyways.

Although the cable I use to suspend the catcher do go a bit dark from tension, but that's to be expected.

BTW, I know theres no cable in AR, its to throw you guys off, lol :)

Also, I'm getting to the point where it acts all chaotic and the smallest change produces completely different results, lol. Theres just so many things that affect everything else, even if they aren't directly connected to each other. It's like chaos theory or something.

I got 2914 L/D hybrid. Don't know for sure whether to call it light or dark because there are so many things that could be considered dark that are part of the level.

I have a concept for 2984, but it's hard to tweak.

yea it is hard because it can easily become like chaos with the slightest change in anything. I'm not sure how to tweak mine further.
