Non-newbies

Hey,
If the purpose of having a Newbie League is to encourage new people to participate, then it seems pretty counter-productive for a bunch of veterans to use it as an opportunity to boost their self-esteem.
It's like karate class where a bunch of black belts walkarounbd showing off in a white belts class.
I can see how newbies would be discouraged by this instead of encouraged.
So, come on guys. How about chilling out?

Yeah Chubo, you're right, but even if a veteran show out his scores, he cannot win anyway, this league was purposely created!!
Moreover a veteran score can encourage a newbie to do better and improve himself, don't you think?
I tried that on my skin, i'm a newbie, and scores like nickynick's an luka122's ones pushed me in doing better!
This is not a little lambs crew, a little competitiveness is good!

awesome sauce

I think your answer is good, it is different for different people. However, I still think people should bear chubo's point in mind when posting (boasting?) their scores.

well, sorry. I just was trying to make this contest a bit more challenging. If you guys don't want any "veteran" scores - I'll move my ass out of the "N" League forum :D

I see your point about veterans. Competition is good and if you beat their score, you have even more to feel good about.

BTW 1820

Hey,
Does the winner each week do the next contest? When and where do you send it?
Not that I'm feeling confident or anything...
