General information about contests can be found here. Make sure to check out this link if you're new to the ARF contests!

A collection of guidelines on hosting contests is also available.

Here are the rules specific to the "N" league.
This league is intended to make it easier for newbies to earn their first medals.

general rules are the same as for "A" League
the duration of "N" League is one week
the levels must be as easy as those for "A" League or even easier
participation is restricted to players who have at most 2 medals (people who are not Contest Veterans or higher)
as usual, the winner of a contest becomes the host of the next. They also can use levels made by somebody else who is Contest Veteran or higher if they wish.

do I count as a veteran? I've only won a design contest

edit: just realised it says veteran next to veterans names :oops:

This does raise a good point; if you've won 3 design medals you still count as a veteran even if you've never solved a level in your life

But I don't think that will be too much of a problem.

I think that anybody that cannot participate in the N league shouldn't be allowed to say anything but in the results forum. Showing your high scores will just dismay new players, and submitting causes more confusion.

This has been discussed before, what might dismay some actually motivates others, it's hard to get a good balance here!

However your point about it being confusing is a very good one. I think that no veteran should be able to post a score without making it clear that they are just a veteran showing off :lol:

What do other people (veterans and novices) think?

HELP!!!!! i opened up an attachment and it said internet cant open it so i told it run it on armadillo run and now i cant open attachments :?:

just to ask. What is a contest veteran? like do you get it for winning more than one contest or from just going in?
and why arn't the c leage or design contest got any new ones? (srry for spelling
