what do you mean? there is only one sheet there, so there isn't a violation of rules...

the rules are that you can't have anything attached to eachother by the node.

The metal piece you're talking about is nothing+nothing. both endnodes of the metal are attached to nothing. I'll try to explain better.

node+nothing is a way of saying "If one node of a piece is attached to a node of another piece, and the other node is attached to nothing, that is a violation".

It is a really confusing thing... the plus doesn't really mean anything.

the syntax is:

(what the first endnode is attached to)+(what the second endnode is attached to) = (yes/no)

IMHO: Almost all light solutions are grey. Especially mine & FFs. :)
