ARFC C I Results

These are the results of ARFC C I:

The winner is NickyNick with a beautifully executed round trip, touching a total of 17 metal plates.

This was the only entry to the competition. One could speculate as to why, and I have some alternatives:

1) The C Special rules idea was not any fun. But quite many supported the idea before the contest.
2) This particular level was boring. But here too there was quite a few voices saying the opposite.
3) NickyNick scared everyone with his score of 17. But at least one other potential contestant claimed to have this score.
4) The forum has been acting strangely and it has been impossible to find out the submission email address. Well, maybe? I could access the forum many times before. Now it has been down for a long time, though.

We'll see how NickyNick's level will fare. I will play it anyway!

It was brought up in the discussion and I allowed that. Maybe I should have updated the first post. Sorry about that!

My speculation is that it was an easy level to do 'alright' in and a very very hard level to do superbly in. Noone wants to submit an 'alright' solution

As always with these 1-entry wins, the winning entry is still of a very good standard though, so NickyNick definitely deserves his medal.

Duration of the first C competition was only 3 DAYS, thats why i think we got only one entry.

No, it was 8 days. It started in the General Contest subforum, but then PeterT kindly created the "C" league subforum and the thread was moved there.

I think dudiobugtrone has a point. There easy metalshet was easy and the hard was very hard. Heavy work. Anyhow - I believe that it is good sportsmanship to post ones entry even if you know it wont win. It makes the dillo-world go around. I think there was enough people that thought the idea was cool though. I was surprised that there was only one entry.
